English - Yes. For my own private purposes when building I have had to pay higher prices for foreign timber than for English timber. For instance, red deal is very dear in comparison with Scoteh'fir, spruce, and the fir tribe generally. If we come to oak, one has to give higher prices for British oak than for foreign oak, but at the same time I consider it is of higher value.
