From the Back Cover:
Today's political arguments are based on a liberal left, conservative right, and a center ground saved for moderation of the two party positions.Where is the Constitution in this formula? It's gone! It's off the chart, somewhere on the far right wing where it is hardly an afterthought.Sadly, most conservatives have not grasped the importance of centering our Constitution. Consider the fact that the new voters are barraged with the oft-repeated lies that the Constitution is outdated and is "right-wing." This indoctrination allows liberalism to plant its seed in the young person's mind, because they start to believe that moderation between the left-wing Democrats and the right-wing Republicans makes geometric sense. Bi-Partisan legislation seems fair to them. But all that moderation is done with the Constitution in exile. We need to change how we argue about politics to a system that focuses on our Constitution and reverses the mutations developed and used by the liberals. This book offers a foundation for reasonable discussions about politics by setting an unshakable foundation for constitutional government; it is a process that puts the Constitution in the center of all debate: The Constitutional Initial Point. The CIP is an objective and defined model that refutes the idea that our Constitution is a living-and-breathing document, which is the foundation of today's liberalism. There is a reason why we are losing so many people, especially the youth, to the liberal political machine. We've surrendered the center without considering its tactical importance. The mainstream media voter ends up believing that the Constitution is irrelevant, old and needs to be changed. We have been letting the liberals seize the center of politics without a fight. To fight you must have a plan. That plan is in this short book.
About the Author:
Steven Maikoski has worked with several political influence groups, including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and National Write Your Congressman. As he discussed politics he realized how far our government had moved from its foundation, so he started on a long study of our history, political philosophies, and the dangers posed by greedy politicians, going all the way back to Plato, our Constitution and its supporting Federalist Papers. Steve is a veteran of the US Air Force (1968-1973) having served in support of Army Aviation in Western Germany, and worked with National Severe Storms Laboratories during one thunderstorm season in Oklahoma. As a skydiving instructor and jumpmaster, he experienced the sport from its transition period from the round parachutes to the modern airfoils that everybody uses today. He finished his jumping after competing in ten-man speed star competitions in Casa Grande, AZ. For 35 years, Steve was a photographer at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. Most of his work was done for USA Basketball.
