About the Author:

The author is a monk-priest at the Abbey of New Clairvaux. He entered religious life in 1944 as a Christian Brother of Ireland. He has been a monk since 1959, a priest for 47 years, and a hermit from 1985 to 2005. He authored DON'T YOU BELONG TO ME?, THE HERMIT BIRD'S SONG, DEATH AND ITS HAPPY OUTCOME, THREE DIVINE MYSTERIES, REVELATION: TWO VIEWS, THE SCENIC VIEW AND THE SHORTCUT VIEW. He has been a spiritual director since 1968, with a BA and STM degrees and professor of theology and philosophy for 27 years. He does private and group spiritual direction at the Abbey.
