Synopsis

This story takes place in a faraway land. The inhabitants live together in peace. However, there's a vacant, dark area that's controlled by an evil shadow that tries to darken the rest of the land as part of a big plot to take over. The darkness has been kept back for many years. But lately, certain areas of the land are starting to darken again. It's up to one hero to foil the plot. Will this hero succeed in doing that, or will all the inhabitants be controlled by evil forces forever? Find out in this exciting adventure!

I have written other stories, but this is my first chapter book. I love using my imagination when I write. But most of all, I had fun writing this.

About the Author:

Marilyn Mitchell lives in Absecon, New Jersey. She attended Atlantic Cape Community College where she earned an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts. She then went on to attend Richard Stockton College where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing. Mitchell always had a strong love for reading from the time she was a little girl. She later began writing short stories. She published her first book on Amazon Kindle titled "Legend of the Black Cloud Valley."
