About the Author:

Janet Nima Taylor, MBA, has twenty years of experience as a corporate executive and trainer in the business world, as well as a former Buddhist nun, and she is passionate about helping people change their behavior to create positive habits.

She has been practicing various forms of meditation since high school, and five years ago, she founded the daily meditation program Serenity Pause, which helps individuals incorporate more peace and calm into their lives.

She is also the director of the Temple Buddhist Center in Kansas City, Missouri as well as the executive director of the Dzoghchen Foundation, a national nonprofit organization with a focus on Buddhist practices and meditation.

In April 2013, in order to deepen her own daily practice, she took her monastic vows with her teacher of fifteen years, Lama Surya Das.
