About the Author:

Clarissa Green, nee Brown, was born and raised in the inner city of Milwaukee, WI. At the tender age of 7, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was motivated to write poetry from hardships she faced during her childhood. Her skill set in writing became more prominent while attending Milw. H.S. of the Arts as a Creative Writing major for two years. Afterwards, she partook in the Law Program at Pulaski High School, graduating in 2007, receiving her high school diploma. She proceeded forward to Sanford Brown College, where she received her Associates in Criminal Justice in 2008. At the age of 19, Clarissa rededicated her life back to the Lord, joining Crossing Jordan Ministries. Through on hand spiritual guidance and mentoring, Clarissa allowed what she thought of as a skill, to be utilized as a gift to minister God's word. In 2012 she produced and directed her first gospel stage play titled Love Stings. After receiving such positive feedback from the play, she was encouraged to turn it into a book just months later. In doing so, Clarissa founded Unbreakable Publishing Company LLC for Christian authors.Clarissa has faced multiple obstacles in her life that lead her astray into self-destruction. Her faith in God and her drive to succeed in spite of barriers makes her, what she calls, Unbreakable. “Break the barrier, don't let it break you!" Clarissa has founded multiple non profit organizations based upon that motif, being Unbreakable, including a social support group, a mentoring program, and a combat against violence. Her desire to make a difference and her dedication to giving back is remarkable!
