If there is a quote that is speaking to you, go there. This book is meant to guide you along the path to becoming a real man, it cannot, however, determine where you are on that path. Your daily struggles will determine that for you. If you do not know where you are, then definitely feel free to take it one day at a time, in the order it is presented. All I ask is that, no matter how you approach the material, you open your mind to the information presented. Some of it will easily fit within your preconceived notions about what a real man is. Some of it, however, might surprise you. The thing which you should always keep in the back of your mind: being a real man is about being fully human, not the manimal of the past. What is a manimal? A man who has succumbed to those lesser qualities which we all have within us: greed, sloth, envy, cowardice, dishonesty, brutishness, exploitation, manipulation, peevishness, pettiness, and on and on. We all know the manimal, we have all been him. But, we also know the real man, because, he too resides within each and every one of us. This book is about setting him free. It is about becoming the greatest expression of yourself that you can be. It is about Manning Up!
