My name is Kimberly Craig and I was born in Atlanta, Georgia. I currently live just north of the city in the suburb of Alpharetta, Georgia with my husband Shawn. For the last 9 years I have been busy as a mom and business owner. In recent months I have transitioned back to being at home full-time. I have found a new appreciation for spending my days raising my children. I am thankful for the strength God has given me to put Him first and raise my children in a loving, Christian home where no one is perfect but we love and appreciate our individuality & the gifts we have been given. Baking has been a family tradition since I can remember. As a little girl I remember sitting on the kitchen counter watching my Grandma Haecker bake. The smell that filled her kitchen and the smile on her face as she offered me a taste of her pound cake batter will forever be embedded in my heart. For nearly a decade my best friend Rhonda and I have baked every Christmas. We each make about a dozen kinds of cookies & candies, swap them & make trays for our children's teachers, family, neighbors & friends. Baking for me is one of the things I enjoy most about the holiday season. After the kids are tucked into bed, lunches are made.. the baking begins. I have holiday music on in the kitchen & I am in "baking mode." It's my selfish time. And I get so excited knowing I get to share the joy of the season through simple cookie baking!
