In studying the Names of GOD, it seems to be an endless subject. Why are the Names of GOD an endless subject? Because the Names of GOD describe GOD'S character, GOD'S attributes. Who GOD is? Who GOD is to you? Therefore, when a believer says, "GOD is my Rock." What is the believer saying? The answer to this question is the subject of this study. By Studying the Names of GOD, a believer can come to know GOD in a more personal, intimate and covenant way. If the believer will allow the Holy Spirit to teach and reveal the truth and not reject the truth will come to know GOD in a more personal intimate covenant way. If the person is studying the Names of GOD as a study and does not to come to know GOD in a more personal way, that person will have only head knowledge of the Names of GOD and not have grown in their personal relationship the GOD himself. Thus, this person will lose the object of this study.

The Names of God began in 1995 when God said I was to write a book about the Names of God. The study of the Names of God began many years before as most believers do as a general study of the Names of God. I thought this would be an easy task. It took until 2002 before anything was on paper.
Then came, the real depth God was leading into Names of God. In 2005 was the first time everything began to come together as a book began to form. From there, it was five rewrites and eight more years of research and studying in great depth of detail. I have two 24-inch long file draws full of research material and 1.5 gigabyte of data. It is still growing.
The approach God wanted me to take was different from most other authors on the Names of God. Most believers in America do not have a good grasp of covenants. The majority of the Names of God is or come from covenant relationship with the One True God (Yahweh). Even some of the Names of God believers have attached to the One True God (Yahweh) come from the believer's relationship with Him. There has to care taken in giving a name to the One True God (Yahweh). Only the names that apply or come from the believer's relationship with the One True God (Yahweh) are true Names of God.

The Names of God and the Title-Names deserve the highest Honor and highest Respect. The lack thereof may constitute a misuse of a Name of God. The One True God himself does not take the misuse of a Name of God lightly. God will punish whoever misuses his name or names, Exodus 2:7.

If the believer's intellect is unrenewed to the Word of God and to receiving revelation from the Holy Spirit then the believer may miss the One True God working in their life.

The use of a Name of God like a magical name is a misuse of a Name of the One True God. The Names of the One True God are not some magical Names that produce results or actions from the One True God (Yahweh). The use of a Name of God as a magical name constitutes a misuse of a Name of the One True God. Thus, using of a Name of God as a magical name is considered profaning the Name.
