About the Author:

Warren Hall has truly had a lifetime love affair with flying. He learned to fly in High School as a "line boy" at a local airport in Richmond, Virginia. After college, he became a Navy Fighter Pilot flying the F3B "Demon" and F4B "Phantom II" logging over 300 Carrier Landings. He is currently a NASA Test Pilot and has flown over 65 different types of aircraft including the X-14A, XV-15, X-22A, AD-1 Swing Wing, and the unique Rotor Systems Research Aircraft. He completed twenty-eight years of continuous military flying retiring as the Commander of a California Air National Guard Rescue Group, with the rank of Colonel. He has authored 73 Technical Reports and received three International awards for technical excellence.
