About the Author:

Fred Schafer is a Certified Fitness Trainer (International Sports Sciences Association), with a 30 year background in the fitness, health and wellness field. In 1995 he established "Fully Alive Fitness Systems", a personal fitness training service. He was led to do so after observing so many people fail in their sincere efforts to achieve even a reasonable level of fitness and health. Often times this was due to lack of knowing the true scientific principles of fitness, and/or falling victim to the slick marketing of infomercials, fitness fraud, and nutritional nonsense that we are bombarded with daily.

Fred knew that people could reach their goals if they followed the steps he had identified for successful physical transformation. For a number of years he worked with others one on one part time, while working full time as a Director of Food/Nutrition for several school districts. Over the past few years, he has moved to conducting health, fitness and wellness seminars for conferences and organizations, as this allows him to impact a greater number of people in less time. In addition, due to demand, Fred has begun to offer online personal training, books and videos, quality home gym equipment products and design, and consult with individuals on a selective basis.

He continues to work as a Food/Nutrition Director, is married with three children and is pursuing his Masters Degree in Wellness Promotion through California College Of Health Sciences. He has a proven track record of outstanding success as a fitness entrepreneur, school district administrator, health care manager and in the hotel and restaurant business. Fred can relate to the busy lives of other while helping them to be successful in enjoying a lifetime of extraordinary fitness, health, and wellness.
