Sue is a social anthropologist and lives with her children in the Malaysian rainforest, gathering data for her doctoral thesis. Sue’s philosophy of life and work is nature theater play, which emphasizes the importance of play and creativity in an environmental context. In her own recovery from breast cancer and depression, she experienced the importance of the integration of the natural world with cultural forms and feels that in her 60s, it has given her a new lease on life.
