The Court of Directors, in their late correspondence with the President of the India Board, expressed a wish to be further informed, as to those representations which had satisfied. His Majesty's Ministers that the import trade from the East-Indies should no longer be confined to the Port of London. They were referred by his Lordship, in his letter of the 4th January, to the petitions presented to Parliament, in the course of the last session, from the merchants and manufacturers connected with the Outports.
