About the Author:
Described by Forbes Magazine as a “miraclemaker—or, more precisely a miracle medium,” Paul Sherman is a certified professional coach and workshop leader specializing in individual, team and organizational performance. Over his 25 year career he has brought his unique blend of people and business acumen to over 50 major corporations and government agencies worldwide. His extensive experience includes leadership development, marketing and business development, organizational assessment, and implementing strategic change initiatives including mergers, product launches, and new information technologies. In addition to his extensive coaching and consulting career, Paul has held key management positions at Cambridge Technology Partners (Marketing, Engagement Management and Training), Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Learning and Development) and Amherst Consulting Group (Chief Operating Officer). He has also served on the faculty of tompeters!company and as an adjunct professor at Massachusetts-based Cambridge College where he designed and taught a new graduate level program in Personal and Professional Coaching. Most recently he served as the Vice President of Global Learning and Development for Vertex Pharmaceuticals. A pioneer in the emerging field of Team Coaching, Paul is a frequent speaker and writer on the topic. As an executive coach Paul is committed to helping middle and senior level managers to develop their values-based authentic leadership in the context of managing for results. A summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard University, Paul holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a Masters in Human Resources Education from Boston University. In addition, he earned the credential of Certified Professional Co-Active Coach through The Coaches Training Institute.
