This is also the story of her mother and the grief that was buried for sixty years, buried and unresolved grief impacting not only her parents but also her siblings in that grieving home. This book includes stories of other grieving mothers and siblings, stories which were meant to be shared, to assist in healing from the anger, guilt, and sorrow that accompanies the death of a child. As a book to assist in healing, it shares insights of how families deal with grief, especially after the death of a child. The author shares thoughts on how to support grieving families, and she discusses how faith and forgiveness appear to be key components in moving forward with a fulfilling life after the death of a loved one.

About the Author:

Patricia Sheveland is a Registered Nurse, and a Certified Life Coach, specializing in Grief and Mind-Body-Spirit Coaching. As a "recovering" corporate executive with over twenty-five years of business experience, she recently left her corporate career in the workers' compensation insurance field to immerse herself fully into her writing, coaching, and mind-body-spirit practice full-time. As a child born into a grieving family where the grief was deeply hidden, she has first-hand experience on how the death of a child impacts the family structure. After two significant "epiphanies" that occurred in her mid-life, she realized that her Life Purpose has always been to be a support in the death & dying process. Her second half of life is dedicated to helping people finding healing in their grief and creating lives filled with Purpose and Joy.
