From the Author:

In my chapter "Healing into Life," I share my journey of healing following the tragic death of my beloved partner due to complications from an unnecessary surgery that left him respirator dependent. He chose to have life support removed and died 5 1/2 months after entering the hospital for a procedure that was expected to require only a six week recovery. I  chose to write about my experience of surviving great loss and starting over in a new, never imagined life, so others taking a similar journey might find comfort and hope for the future.

Sue and Kathy have been friends for 27 years and business partners since 1994. They love their latest venture into publishing individually - authored books to provide a platform for individuals to achieve their dreams of becoming published authors.
