Book Description:
How would you like to be a T-Rex for the day? Be able to fly? Or inhabit your worst enemy’s body just for a day?

Imagine being able to become any animal in the world – you taste what they taste, feel what they feel, see what they see. Now imagine being able to be any animal from history.

Great, right? But there’s a catch: Someone just tried to kill you and frame you for murder, and you don’t know who or why. Noah Freeman works at a nondescript government organization where they monitor the environment, from snowfall totals to ocean levels, from bird migrations to algae blooms. It’s not the most exciting job, but at least he’s looking out for the world in his own way. He’s also about to get married to a beautiful woman.

What can go wrong?

Everything.

You see, Noah has stumbled onto a statistical anomaly: The water level in a certain dam is not what it is supposed to be. He reports it to his boss before leaving on his last trip as a bachelor – a weekend of hiking and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains, all by himself.

There are Native American legends of the WHITE ROOM, but those are just legends...right?

In the mountains, Noah runs into a couple of lost hikers and offers to help get them to their destination. But at the edge of a waterfall one of the hikers slips. Noah manages to steady him, but in the process he goes over the edge himself, falling hundreds of feet into the river below. He’s hurt and the current is too strong to fight against.

Noah is swept into a cavern and his head collides with a stalactite. As he loses consciousness a bright light appears...this must be the end.

But if it’s the end, why does he hurt so much?

He wakes in a room of nothiningness, just endless white. But he’s not alone. Floating above is a sphere, seemingly made of liquid metal, reflecting, flowing. Noah touches it and it sucks him inside.

A cold voice says, “Welcome back, Operator.”

In this strange new place Noah is being healed by an alien intelligence far greater than his own, and is taught to use “Agents.” The Agents are creatures from Earth’s past: a dragonfly the size of an eagle, a sabertooth tiger, and dozens of other species.

He uses the Agents to try to get word to the outside world and let his fiancée know he’s okay. But he discovers he’s been framed for the murder of his boss, and his plunge from the waterfall was no accident.

Join us in unraveling a mystery employing some of the coolest creatures ever to have lived. A mystery that is so dark that if Noah fails, mankind is doomed.
