Audrey DeLella Benedict, a biologist, naturalist, writer, and passionate advocate for the conservation of the Southern Rockies unique landscapes, is the author of Valley of the Dunes and the founder and director of Cloud Ridge Naturalists, one of the oldest and most respected nonprofit environmental education programs in North America.
