About the Author:
Eddie Ellis is a recognized expert on the area's past. He has written often for newspapers and magazines and entertained diverse audiences for years. As a career journalist, he published Cherry Point's Windsock and founded the Havelock News. His third book of community history, Historic Images of Havelock and Cherry Point, is the product of a life-time of local research.
