About the Author:

Mike McKenna is an award-winning journalist, fly fishing writer and the managing editor of Sun Valley Magazine. His outdoor writing has appeared widely, from small regional newspapers to some of the largest magazines in the country. A native New Englander, Mike has spent most of his adult life exploring the mountains of the West and began calling Idaho s Northern Rockies home close to two decades ago. An avid fly fisherman, Mike can be found casting in local waters just about any day of the year. He lives in Hailey with his wife, Brooke, and their two young sons/fishing buddies, Jack and Sam.
