About the Author:
Paul Shore is a technology industry veteran who has worked around the globe. His drive to embrace new challenges has seen Paul involved in a variety of pursuits. After the software startup he was with in France was acquired by computer chip maker Broadcom in 1999, Paul returned to Vancouver and led the company's voice-over-internet group for years. Marrying a talent for business with a passion for sport and community, Shore pursued a role in the world of sports and spent an inspiring, and at times physically risky, few years working for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games. He has also regularly dedicated energy to volunteerism, while living in Whistler with his wife and children and exploring the mountains and ocean of the coast.
Talya Shore works in community services programming, running mentor programs for kids. She has a passion for sustainable community development, both locally and on a global level. Talya lives with her family in Whistler, where she continues to gain more appreciation for the mountains, lakes and forests. She enjoys being active and watching her children learn and grow in their natural surrounds. Chris Ripley is a Calgary based sports artist who grew up immersed in sport, from baseball to basketball his youth was filled with athletics. While studying art at University he became a nationally ranked long jumper. After graduating he competed internationally for the Canadian bobsleigh team, and won a National Championship in 2010. He has taken this passion for sport and merged it with his artistic talents to create some of the most unique and dynamic sports artwork on the market today.
