Gerald Singer came to the Virgin Islands in 1969. He became a commercial fisherman and later managed a vacation rental villa and served as a charter boat captain and guide specializing in adventure boat charters. He is the author of St. John Off the Beaten Track, St. John Beach Guide, Tales of St. John and the Caribbean, St. Thomas and Vieques.
