Welcome to the World can be read at a welcoming ceremony or a baptism, as a means of consciously welcoming a newborn baby into the family, the community, the world. It can be read to a child to remind them of their own spirituality. Presented in red linen with gold lettering, and beautiful full color illustrations, this hard-cover keepsake book for children is a "blessing" each time it is read. The book includes a page for the child's name, date of birth, and a photograph.

About the Author:
Kathrin Smith is a birth doula, and mother of two grown children. Her experiences serving as a doula and her feelings about the sacredness of birth inspired her to write this book.
