About the Author:
Donald and Sara Hassler are first-time children’s book authors and publishers. Their passion for both animals and children’s books led to the creation of PugTale Publishing—a company dedicated to helping novice and experienced pet owners learn about responsible pet care and the commitment needed to love a pet for a lifetime. The authors reside in Connecticut with Marley and Belle, the real-life inspiration for the PugTale Adventures storybooks. Carol Newsom has been captivating and entertaining children with her watercolor illustrations for over twenty years. Her art has graced the pages of over 150 books. Newsom holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in story illustrations from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles California and has been a freelance illustrator for her entire career. She lives in Kitteredge Colorado. Some titles include The Emperor’s New Clothes, (Dutton Children’s Books), Kevin Corbet Eats Flies (Minstrel) and A Swan Named Sam, (Harper Collins)
