About the Author:
Michelle Larks is the author of the ‘A Myriad of Emotions, released in March of 2003. The collection of poetry, essays, and a short story is her first writing venture. Michelle’s latest book released in March of 2004 is titled, ‘Crisis Mode’. It is a compilation of 4 short stories She is a Systems Programmer, employed by one of the largest outsourcing firms in the U.S. Michelle is a native of the Windy City, Chicago. She has been writing since the fifth grade; her teacher submitted an essay, which she read in competition on the citywide level. Michelle graduated from South Shore High School, and attended the University of Illinois, at Chicago Circle Campus. Her other published work is a poem entitled, Land of The Free, Home of the Brave, part of a series published by the International Library of Poetry, called Seasons Change. Michelle was Literary World’s, Author of the Month for March 2004 and Crisis Mode was book of the month in March 2005.. She is an avid reader, and enjoys discussing books at her monthly book club meeting. She has been writing poetry for friends, and relatives, for weddings, funerals, birthdays, and celebrations of milestones in life. Michelle is currently at work on her next book
