On October 4, 2003, the John Cardinal Krol Chair of Moral Theology at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary conducted a symposium on Catholic Moral Teaching in the Pontificate of John Paul II. We were very fortunate to gather five outstanding churchmen and scholars to make presentations on some of the general moral themes presented in this pontificate. We are pleased to make those essays available to a wider audience by publishing this volume.
