The Mutt and the Monster is a children's book geared for grades 2-6 but it is also a book for dog lovers of all ages. It is the comical tale of canine sibling rivalry. Both the Mutt and the Monster are cast in identical situations but offer very different points of view, portraying themselves as the "underdog" and convinced that their young owner Lucy loves the other one more than herself.

About the Author:
I am a former elementary school teacher. I currently teach adult E.S.L.( english as a second language) classes at Colorado Mountain College and I teach kids skiing for the Aspen Ski Company.
I love animals, especially dogs and the idea for The Mutt and the Monster came from my own two dogs Sparky and Spooner.
I love to read, hike, ski, mountain bike and of course write children's books.
