Richard Thomas Wright is well known as a historical and writer. He has explored much of this province by canoe, skies and foot and has spent many years in gold-rush country. For severla years he was an interpreter in Barkerville. Wright has 20 books published, has written over 500 magazine articles and was an award-winning newspaper columnist. He worked for several years as a journalist and editor. He now lives at Pioneer Ranch in B.C.'s Cariboo where he and his wife Cathryn Wellner are partners in GrassRoots Consulting Group, and communications and community development company.
