This book contains 122 topics ranging from Ability to Worth intended to be a reference to aid the reader in understanding the universal law of abundant life, the unbounded realm of possibilities, and one's potential for realizing joy and success. Each essay includes a short story from the life of the author, a reflection on what he learned from the experience, and a cross reference to other essays in the book that are related. The essays are brief, so that the reader can obtain a bit of inspiration and motivation in just five minutes. This book can be used as a motivational daily reader. It includes a 12-month calendar to guide the reader through three complete readings in a year. It can be used as a reference tool, containing an alphabetical index of all 122 topics and cross references within each topic. It can be used as a source for positive affirmations; the "Upon Reflection" part of each essay is written in the first person for easy adoption by the reader. The Soul's Mirror is a window into the life of a blind man living in a sighted world. As such, it is an autobiography. At the same time it is a mirror that allows the reader to look into his or her own experiences, challenges, and achievements. Allow The Soul's Mirror to be your looking glass to see the innermost part of you. There is beauty to behold.

About the Author:
Dana LaMon is in his milieu when he writes to encourage, inspire, and motivate others. At age sixteen he started giving inspirational speeches in his church. After he graduated from law school, both churches and schools benefited from his presentations. In 1992 he won the World Championship of Public Speaking sponsored by Toastmasters International. Dana started his professional speaking business ImageWorth to motivate others and help them enhance their self-image. His audiences include corporate and government employees, business owners, members of trade associations, religious groups, prison inmates, and students from elementary school to college. His settings vary from the local classroom to international conventions. Dana's personal experiences are exemplary of his message. People are inspired when they hear his words and note his accomplishments. He is a black man, reared in Compton, California, as one of twelve children. Despite his blindness at age four years, he graduated from high school with honors, received a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Yale, and earned a law degree from the University of Southern California. After serving as the executive director of an independent living center for people with disabilities and maintaining a solo law practice, Dana became an administrative law judge. He has served in that capacity since 1981.
