From the Inside Flap:
Selected by Pacific Northwest Writers Association Foreword by Ann Rule . Edited by Nigel Loring Fifty years ago, Lucille McDonald and Zola Helen Ross, founders of the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, envisioned an organization that facilitated publishing of then unrecognized talented Northwest writers. Because of their vision over twenty thousand writers have been introduced to the publishing industry through the annual summer conference, the literary contest, and other organizational opportunities. Countless hours of volunteer time have been expended to achieve this remarkable goal. This anthology of work by many of the acclaimed writers who have supported PNWA, and several emerging writers who have benefited from that support, celebrates these fifty years.
