PreS-Gr 1--Heavensbee--a place where anything can be, where wishes or dreams can come true--is the scene of preposterous happenings limited only by the imagination. A horse flying a kite and climbing a tree, a bikini-clad elephant doing the swahini, an eight-gloved octopus missing a fly ball, a mosquito catching a frog are among the absurdities. Awkward writing and fanciful but mawkish illustrations accompany this much-overworked theme.
