About the Author:

Dr. Baugher is a Psychology Instructor at Highline Community College in Des Moines, Washington where he teaches courses in Suicide Intervention, Death & LIfe, Psychology of Human Relations, Understanding AIDS, and Abnormal Psychology. Bob has given more than 500 workshops on grief and loss. He is a member of the Association for Death Education & Counseling, the American Association for Suicidology and is an active member of the Washington State Youth Suicide Prevention Project. Dr. Jordan is a Psychologist in private practice in the Boston, Massachusetts area. He is also the founder and Director of the Suicide Grief Support Program at the Trauma Center in Allston, Massachusetts. He has worked with survivors of suicide and other losses for more than 30 years. He has also published articles in professional journals about grief counseling and the unique bereavement experience of suicide survivors. Jack also provides training for counselors and therapists on grief counseling through the Sturbridge Group, a bereavement training and consultation collaborative. Jack is an active member of the Board of Directors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, New England Chapter.
