The second installment in this small book set includes Persians, Mille Fiori, and Cylinders. Dramatically different in form, each of these series exudes an elegance all their own. Specific only to one series, these titles chronicle the renowned artist’s glass sculptures. Certainly compact in appearance but not in content, each book within the collection boasts more than 112 pages comprised of images reflective of the series after which they are named. Essays by Davira Taragin explore the individuality that makes Chihuly so unique.A companion DVD accompanies each book that includes artist commentary discussing the history of each series, all approximately 15 minutes in running time.

About the Author:
Dale Chihuly has won numerous awards, and is one of only a handful of Americans to have been honored with a solo exhibition at the Muse des Arts Dcoratifs in Paris. Chihuly is co-founder of the Pilchuck Glass School outside Seattle, which draws students and teachers from around the globe.
