Meanwhile, on Earth, Manley and Dorothy's 16-year-old son Blake is not happy about his parents' decision to move to the Four Corners. He meets the Light Being in what he considers a "lucid dream," but soon learns that "L.B." is for real when Earth enters the Photon Belt and the family is stranded in the middle of Nebraska.

Blake's mother, Dorothy, wakes up in a concentration camp while her husband, Manley, has managed to elude the helicopters and is stumbling around in a cornfield, lost in the seemingly endless night.

Blake and his sister are aboard a space shuttle, piloted by the Light Being, headed for the orbiting New Jerusalem, positioned nearby to assist Earth during its shift. His goal is to reunite with his Twin Soul... but first he must obtain a physical body.

About the Author:

Ann Carol (Schumacher) Ulrich was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and in 1975 graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in English/creative writing. In the late ’70s she, her husband and toddler son moved to Aspen, Colorado.

Now the mother of three grown sons, she resides near Paonia, Colorado, with her second husband and their animals, including a dog, an elderly cat, three mules and a flock of chickens. She works for the bi-weekly environmental newspaper, High Country News.

Space interested Ulrich since childhood. Later in life she became involved with UFO Contact Center International and became an associate director of that organization, to help contactees and to educate others about the presence of extraterrestrials and the vessels in which they fly. She began publishing a monthly UFO/metaphysical newsletter, The Star Beacon, in 1987.

In 1988 her first novel in the space series, Intimate Abduction, was published, followed in 1994 by its sequel, Return To Terra. The Light Being completes the Space Trilogy. She co-authored Permutation, A True UFO Story, with Shirl� Klein-Carsh, and in 1999 saw the publication of her romance/mystery, Night of the November Moon.

Ulrich enjoys living in the mountains, playing piano, and helping others publish their books through Earth Star Publications.
