Claire B. Mailhot, RN, MS, EdD, FAAN, is Director of Surgical Program Development at Stanford University Hospital and a nationallly recognized authority of operating room management. Her 25-year career encompasses a wide variety of both clinical and administrative postitions, giving her a broad perspective on all aspects of the surgical experience.

Melinda Brubaker, RN, BSN is a health care consultant with a wide variety of experience in after surgical care. In addition she works part-time for the University of Southern Maine's School of Public Health.

Linda Slezak, RN, MS, FAAN is a surgical services consultant. In this role she works with hospitals around the country to improve patient flow and efficiency of surgical services.
