John F. Carr is the author of several science fiction novels. He has also edited over 25 sf anthologies with Jerry Pournelle. An authority on H. Beam Piper, he has edited 4 volumes of previously uncollected Piper short story collections. He is presently at work on the 4 volume Crying Clown Celebration with Camden Benares.
