Book Description Pamphlet. xi, 58p., introduction, very good first edition playscript in trade paperback pictorial wraps. Protagonist is fleeing dark death, in search of dark ladies, ultimately stabbed by irritable African Americans [exeunt]. A riff on Jack Kerouac set in San Francisco and Inverness California. It was "banned from competition in Wales at the All England Drama Festival due to 'the controversial nature of the piece' " -- controversial? possibly because of ethnicity of knife-wielder --but the play went on to the Shropshire Drama Festival where it won "award and recognition." Knight was best-known in San Francisco for his film reviews for The SF Chronicle. Seller Inventory # 160308
