About the Author:
Jeanne Bryner was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and lived in West Virginia until age four. A graduage of Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and Kent State University's Honors College, she has won several awards for community service, nursing, and writing. Her poetry has been adapted for the stage. Her first collection of poems, BREATHLESS, was published in 1995 as part of the Wick Series by Kent State University.
