About the Author:

Denise Denniston became a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation Program in 1971. Since then, she has taught the TM Program in Omaha, Nebraska; Los Angeles, California; and New York City. She has worked at the United States National Center for the Transcendental Meditation Program and at the International Capitol of the Age of Enlightenment in Europe. She holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Education from the University of California at Berkeley and is a faculty member at Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa where she serves as chair the department of the Science of Creative Intelligence and Dean of the College of the Science of Creative Intelligence. She is married to Joseph Gerace and has a daughter, Marisa Bagambhrini.

Barry Geller, who illustrated this book, was head of the design department of Maharishi International University Press, the international production facility for the Transcendental Meditation Movement in Europe. He now operates his own freelance advertising, illustration, and design business.
