Synopsis

This second volume in the series includes the pottery from the site of Gournia, excavations by Harriet Boyd in 1901, 1903, and 1904. The town flourished from the early Bronze Age until its destruction at the end of the Late Minoan IB. Although resettled later in the Bronze Age, the site was finally abandoned during Late Minoan IIIB. This catalogue includes 473 entries with detailed descriptions, profile drawings, and photographs.
