Harrison arrived in the Qu' Appelle Valley, North West Territories in 1902, before Saskatchewan was a province. He was 17 years old. He went on to become one of the province's most respected horsemen. Read more about : Stockwell, Delia D, General Ketchen, foals, Ridgeway, Pile of Bones, Pensweep, Cree Chief Piapot, and Marquis Downs. Text complemented by Harrisons poetry, photographs, and b/w drawings. Cond : Volume is black with lettering on spine only. End-papers are white. D.J. is brown with green lettering and decoration. D.J. graphic shows Harrison (looking surprisingly similar to the author) relaxing with a pipe. D.J. rubbed but now protected in mylar. Binding started at page 141. Light stain on bottom page edge. FFEP removed. READING copy only. No names, marks, nor creases. Bright.
