Douglas Anderson has lived among Indians for most of his life, arriving in 1935 at the Navajo Reservation where he was a trader for many years. Barbara Anderson, a native of New York State and graduate of Cornell University, taught at Ganado on the Navajo Reservation. Now retired, the Andersons make their home near Santa Fe, New Mexico.
