About the Author:

Daniel Kane is currently a lecturer in American Literature at the University of East Anglia, England. He is the author of All Poets Welcome: The Lower East Side Poetry Scene in the 1960s (University of California Press), and his poems have appeared in Denver Quarterly, Exquisite Corpse, and The Hat. Born in New York City, Kane was educated at Marlboro College and has a Ph.D. from New York University.
