About the Author:

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Holly Bea spent 15 years writing advertising prose for agencies in Dallas, Houston, and Chicago. After a spiritual awakening in 1991, she began writing inspirational children's books. In addition to working as a freelance writer, Ms. Bea is a motivational speaker for high school students, providing messages of focus, inspiration, and hope. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the San Jose American Musical Theater, and is an active community volunteer. Her hobbies include reading, jogging, cooking, music, and needlework. She lives in San Jose, California, with her soul mate and husband Steven Weaver, stepson Mike, and their Shelties Mandy and Lizzie.

Kim Howard studied art and drama at the University of California at Berkeley. She has lived in the Rocky Mountains, where she painted wild life; in Ireland, where she painted birds; and in Norway, where she exhibited and taught painting on the Hardanger Fjord. She has been a Merit Scholar at the Academy of Art College, a textile designer, a greeting card designer, and a freelance product designer. She has illustrated fourteen children's books, including the best-selling The Lovables in the Kingdom of Self-Esteem and the very popular Where Does God Live? Kim lives in Ketchum, Idaho, with her daughter Amelia.
