About the Author:
Author Dr. Constance Cappel tells in her forward how she wrote the book and the story behind the story. She met people who knew Hemingway personally and was able to visit the scenes of his youth and recognize them from his writings.

Dr. Cappel joined the Peace Corps and traveled around the world. Until recently she taught English in Poland and traveled extensively in Russia. She continues to pursue her keen interest in learning and has written numerous books about people and places.
