The Fleischman collection, ranging from Cycladic (c. 2500 B.C.) to late Roman (c. A.D. 130), focuses on intimate objects, especially those that are concerned with everyday life. Two-thirds of this collection (approximately 180 items) are included in an exhibit appearing at the Getty and Cleveland museums of art in 1994-95. The collection is arranged by medium within six chronological periods.
