From Library Journal:
As the end of the millennium draws near, various fundamentalist Christian groups are engaged in using the biblical book of Revelation to predict when Christ will return and a new age of God will dawn. The contributors to this work, all of whom are well-respected writers and preachers in fundamentalist Christian circles, examine various signs, like the apostate church and the Tribulation, of the end of the times. The writers forget, however, that Revelation is not a book of prophecies whose signs may be read in modern society but an apocalyptic writing that offered hope to a specific group of people at a specific time in history. The book is also marred by rabid dogmatism and tendentious interpretations. Not recommended.
