A Chinese son must tell his parents that he's moved in with his white girlfriend. In a counter-narrative, the play explodes Asian stereotypes, in a B movie called "Wrath of the Yellow Claw." The Globe and Mail wrote, "At its heart, Marty Chan's fast-paced comedy is a blend of a couple of old stories: culture clash and generational conflict."

About the Author:
Cut from the Harlem Globetrotters in 1979, Marty accused this basketball organization of discrimination. His famous quote in the Washington Post--"Those guys are 'shortist'"--sparked a backlash against himself and Randy Newman's hit single "Short People."
Review:
"Ingenious as a Chinese puzzle, that manages to be stinging, hilarious and heartfelt as it probes cultural/racial stereotypes and universal coming-of-age angst." (Liz Nicholls Edmonton Journal 2011-10-19)
