Michael G. Wise, M.D.,is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of California, Davis, and Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, the F. Edward H& #233;bert School of Medicine, Bethesda, Maryland. A retired Colonel, U.S. Air Force, Medical Corps, Dr. Wise is National Civilian Consultant to the U.S. Air Force Surgeon General. He is the past Editor-in-Chief of the American College of Psychiatrists& rsquo; Psychiatric UPDATE Audiotape Education Program. Dr. Wise is the author or editor of many scientific articles, book chapters, and books, including coauthor of the Concise Guide to Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, First and Second Editions.

James R. Rundell, M.D.,is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland, Program Director of the National Capital Military Psychiatry Residency, Washington, D.C., and Chief of Professional Services, 86th Medical Group, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. He also teaches in a family practice residency training program, supervising family practice residents rotating in the consultation-liaison psychiatry service. Dr. Rundell is the author or editor of more than 50 publications, including coauthor of the Concise Guide to Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, First and Second Editions.
