About the Author:

Veteran journalist William George Shuster is a three-time winner of the Jesse H. Neal Award for Editorial Achievement, business journalism’s version of the Pulitzer Prize. He also holds numerous other awards and citations for his work since 1980 at Jewelers’ Circular-Keystone (JCK) magazine—the oldest and most widely read magazine in the industry—and, prior to that, as a newspaper reporter. Shuster has been a journalist for 35 years, starting with work done in college and in the Army. Now senior editor of JCK, he has written about virtually every aspect of the jewelry industry.
